Cape Town is one of the most loved cities in the world with such a variety of things to offer! Bursting with natural beauty, a rich and diverse heritage and many cultural attractions alongside some of the top culinary experiences in the Southern Hemisphere, there is something for everyone.

Our top spots.

Camps Bay

Popular with locals and international visitors, famous for its fine white sand, breath-taking views of the Twelve Apostles mountains. Bordering the beach is the thriving Camps Bay strip which boasts fancy seafood restaurants, laid back cafes and cocktail bars with views of the ocean.

The Lawns

This popular restaurant is a local favourite where you come for a meal and stay for the day. Cradled by the fold of Table Mountain and framed by towering oaks, The Lawns at The Roundhouse looks out across the Atlantic Ocean and offers relaxed food and delicious cocktails whilst providing one of the best views in town.

Lions Head

Named Lion’s Head due to the shape of the mountain, this historic landmark boasts panoramic views of the city, offers hiking trails and spectacular views of the ocean and Table Mountain. A manageable walk for even the most novice of hikers with a breath-taking sunrise to start the day or a sunset to finish the day.

V&A Waterfront

The V&A Waterfront is one of the most iconic destinations for anyone who visits Cape Town. The V&A Waterfront offers a great shopping experience as well as some of the best restaurants in the city. Boat trips, helicopter rides and museums such as the Modern Art Zeitz Mocaa are there to explore. The vibrant spirit and local culture of the Waterfront makes it a must for visitors.

Oranjezicht City Farm Market

This farmer’s market is all about local, sustainable products, food, veggies and flowers and is a popular hangout for Capetonians on the weekend. Head here for breakfast, then browse the many stalls each with their own unique offering or take home fresh fruit and veggies brought in from the Oranjezicht Farm.

Grand Africa Café & Beach

A unique and wonderful lunch, drinks or evening dining experience where you can enter a world of discreet escapism, casual decadence, and bare-footed opulence. This beachfront restaurant not only gives you remarkable views of the sunset but delicious food, perfect for sharing with friends while you sip on a cocktail or some bubbly.

Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens

Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is acclaimed as one of the great botanic gardens of the world. Perfect for a picnic or a gentle stroll through the gardens on an afternoon. Keep a look out for the famous Kirstenbosch Summer Concerts which is a picnic style live music concert on Sunday evenings during the summer months.

Constantia Wine Farms

Constantia is a rich and diverse destination of its own within Cape Town, with wine farms, restaurants & many other attractions to look forward to on a short or long visit. Constantia Glen, Eagles Nest, Beau Constantia, Steenberg and Groot Constantia are just a few of the famous wine farms along this route.

Kalk Bay

Kalk Bay’s eclectic mix of historic buildings, cobbled streets, bohemian bric-a-brac shops, vintage bookstores, art and antique galleries, quaint cafés and restaurants and colourful fishing vessels is what makes this fishing village so charming. We’d also recommend breakfast at Olympia Cafe if you’re around in the morning, otherwise Cape to Cuba or the famous Brass Bell for lunch!

Other notable mentions include Bakoven Beach, Llandudno Beach, the Red Bus Sight Seeing Tour, Simon’s Town, Muizenberg, Hout Bay, Franschoek, and Boulders Beach for the penguins of course!
